Community Area Forums (CAFs)
Overview
Community Area Forums (CAFs) are a great way of finding out what's happening in your area and what will affect you.
There are 5 Community Area Forums in South Tyneside:
- East Shields and Whitburn Community Area Forum
- Hebburn Community Area Forum
- Jarrow and Boldon Community Area Forum
- Riverside Community Area Forum
- West Shields, Cleadon and East Boldon Community Area Forum
They are an opportunity for you to meet with local councillors, housing and Council officers, and other people in your community to discuss changes that will be happening and local issues such as:
- Clean streets
- Fly-tipping
- Dog-fouling
- Anti-social behaviour
- Tenancy related issues
Everyone is welcome to attend the meetings, and they take place throughout the year in local venues.

- Hebburn South
- Monkton
Meetings are usually held at Hebburn Central.
