Diabetes Support Group
A support group for people with diabetes in Jarrow, their family and carers.
Sessions will provide advice and guidance on how to better manage and live with diabetes.
Sessions are free to attend and open to all ages for those with diabetes, recently diagnosed or for families and carers of those with diabetes. Morrisons has very kindly donated refreshments.
A rolling programme of four weekly sessions run by Age Concern and the diabetes screening team. It is aimed at supporting people to understand and manage their diabetes.
Places on the sessions need to be booked in advance by calling Age Concern on 0191 456 6903 and are held at Jarrow Focus, Cambrian Street, Jarrow, NE32 3QN.
