The North East Autism Society (NEAS) help children and adults with autism to take part in society.


Support available

The service includes:

  • Parents / carers support groups
  • Family networking (online advice and support)
  • Specialist education for children aged 4 to 19 years
  • Thornbeck College, independent specialist college 16 to 25 years
  • Adult's residential care
  • Children's residential care
  • Short breaks (adults and children)
  • Social and vocational training
  • Employment futures (employment service)
  • Autism and Neurodiversity Academy (ANDA)

Who can access the service

Children and adults under 65 years with autism spectrum condition, learning difficulties and / or disabilties.
