Request a Council Tax refund

If your Council Tax account is in credit you can choose to have all or some of that money returned to you.

We aim to process refunds within 10 working days.

Scam text message warning

We are aware that some residents have received scam text messages claiming to be from GOV.UK, indicating that they are due a Council Tax refund.

We do not text residents about Council Tax refunds.
