The programme aims to promote and increase independent cycling, by:

  • raising awareness of local cycle paths and shared routes

The programme

The rides will be led by British cycling qualified trail cycle and mountain bike leaders, who are trained to develop your independent riding skills.

To ensure as many people as possible can take part in these sessions, we will be offering:

Rides will take place during school holidays, as well as on weekends and summer evenings.

They will take between 2 and 2 and a half hours.

The popularity of the rides will be reviewed, and adjustments will be made accordingly to the types of sessions running, as the project progresses.
