Pelaw Quarry Nature Reserve walk (Walking for wellbeing)
A super walk out to open fields and great views!
This walk will take us through Carr-Ellison Park before heading south along leafy pathways to reach Pelaw Quarry Nature Reserve.
A former brickworks, the reserve is now home to grassland, woods and a large pond which serves as habitat to a large variety of plants, birds and insects.
After leaving the reserve, we'll turn north to head back up to the library, as always, sticking to green spaces, quiet streets and parks where possible.
