How to pay

If you are applying through the Planning Portal

You will be able to pay when you submit your application.  

If you are applying directly to the Council

You can pay by calling the Planning Team on 0191 424 7421 and asking to make a payment.  

Our lines are open 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Thursday, and 8.30am to 4.30pm on Friday.  

You will need:  

  • Your credit / debit card  
  • The site address on your planning application 
  • The amount you need to pay
