This checklist summarises the types of information that you will need to submit for a householder planning application.

Cost

 

A householder planning application costs Â£258. 

There are some very limited circumstances where this planning application fee is not needed and you can find out more about these by using the .

Please note there is no fee exemption for planning applications which have been made due to the removal of permitted development rights by planning condition or by an Article 4 direction.

If two or more householders want to apply using the same planning application, the fee is £509.

How to apply

You can submit planning applications directly to us by email or post. Or, you can submit planning applications using the Planning Portal website.

If you apply by email the completed application form, all plans and supporting documents must be sent in PDF file format. There is a 10mb file size limit (per PDF file or email, whichever is the greater).  We can also accept completed applications on a CD by post (with files in the PDF file format).

You can pay the planning application fee by cheque (payable to Â鶹ÊÓƵ) or by calling us on 0191 424 7421.
