Overview

Generation NE offes employability and job search support to young people aged 18 - 29 years.

The service is part funded by the European Social Fund as part of the England 2014 to 2020 European Structural Investment Funds Growth Programme.


Support available

They will help you to:

  • update your CV
  • complete application forms
  • create effective letters to approach employers for work
  • offer a vacancy matching service
  • work experience placements
  • get access to job and training opportunities

You will be allocated an Employment Advisor who can meet you in an outreach facility including libraries, Job centres and community centres. 

You will also have access to additional support from a digital advisor who will provide you further support using Google docs, Facebook and email.


Who can access the service

The programme is available to 18 to 29 year olds. Places on the programme are subject to availability.
